“Engineering or Legal Studies”: Idiosyncrasy for selection of professional course

An idiosyncratic person is someone who does things in his own way. To my knowledge, every student is an idiosyncratic fellow, as the students does his homework, assignments, answers the questions in his/her own way.

Before 9th April, 2023, I felt like one of the smartest idiosyncratic persons as I thought I come with more two decades of glorious and versatile experience in the spheres of Research, Education, and Administration at Higher Education Institutes, Woman Entrepreneur in the field of Education sector.  My Startup is working in Education Industry and on Education Technology, is shorted as Finalist for National Startup Awards 2022 by Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Govt. of India. I was selected for the professional development training, “STEMCOM Powering Future Women Leaders 2021,” offered by the South Asia Gender and Energy Facility (SAGE) of the World Bank. Presently, I am working with ASSOCHAM Chandigarh UT Development Council, as a Lead role for education sector in Chandigarh.

I met with a very serious accident on 09.04.2023 in which my husband and my mother-in-law Smt. Harmohinder Kaur passed away. I being in a serious condition was taken to IVY Hospital Nawanshahr for First Aid and then referred to Ivy Hospital, Mohali, where I was admitted in ICU from 09.04.2023 to 14.04.2023.

The transformational journey from Er. Inderpreet Kaur to Dr. Inderpreet Kaur was very challenging, I was satisfied that I have accomplished the millstone of my education. After 9th April, 2023, I am having a feeling that for an individual Engineering without knowledge of legal studies has no value.

I my upcoming blogs I will post the challenges for which everyone should be prepared, irrespective of gender, age, religion, country, academic qualification and professional status.
