Smart Floor Cleaner Honored at Dr. Kalam Conclave

I did this: At the 5th Dr. Abdul Kalam Innovation Conclave, Dr. A.K. Singh from DRDO honored Inderpreet Kaur’s innovative Smart Floor Cleaner. This device combines vacuuming and mopping with ultrasonic sensors and battery operation.

I did this: At the Springer International Conference, Dr. Inderpreet Kaur, Head of Electrical Engineering, chaired a session on Smart Technologies. Her session was recognized as the best, showcasing CU’s commitment to excellence and women’s achievements.

I did this: Inderpreet Kaur, HOD of EE at Chandigarh University, delivered a celebrated keynote on Hybrid Electric Vehicles at the 5th Springer International Conference. Her insights on smart technologies were highly praised. Congratulations to her!

Pride and Success for Chandigarh University!

I did this: Our team of 6th-semester EE and EEE students excelled at IIT Kanpur’s Tech Kriti, securing 2nd place with their Robotic Head featuring five live activities. They also qualified for an international competition!

CU Bridges Industry-Academia Gap with IEEMA Meeting

I did this: Chandigarh University hosted the IEEMA Chandigarh Chapter Meeting, bringing together industry leaders from Hartek Powers, BHEL, and others. The focus was on collaborating for sustainable energy projects with CU students.

Workshop on LabVIEW: Emulate Virtual Instrumentation

I did this: The Department of Electronic & Electrical Engineering at CU hosted a LabVIEW workshop from July 15-21, 2015, in collaboration with National Instruments and ARAV Technologies. Mr. Shashank led the sessions, with Dr. Ashwani Kumar Sharma and Prof. NIT Kurukshetra distributing certificates at the valedictory session.

Faculty Development Program on Simulation & Optimization

I did this: The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at CU hosted an FDP on Simulation & Optimization Techniques from July 8-14, 2015. Dr. Mandeep Singh and Dr. J.S. Sahambhi led the inaugural and valedictory sessions, with experts from IIT, NIT, and Thapar University conducting the workshops.
